In the past the restaurant was an ancient olive oil mill, however the structure is still today almost the same because when it was restored it was maintained its authentic rural old country style.

The Hostaria of Starda is the place where you can taste the typical dishes of Tuscan cuisine with a little touch of creativity and characterized by homemade products and some special “old” dishes as the “Peposo”, a spicy beef stew cooked with Chianti wine and pepper.

Wine in Italy is culture and it is often used as an ingredient in Tuscan food and it is the best companion for roasted meet and Tuscan steak, “The Fiorentina” or Tuscan tagliata with rosemary.
